I'm studying those CDs that Doctor John recorded.
The one that interests me the most is the first of all,
that starts with a Texas Boogie that the interviewer
makes him repeat it several times.
And Doctor John has to distinguish between Blues Boogie
and Boogie Woogie. The interviewer asks if the
key is the bass, and Mac repeats and repeats. So
I have transcribed those repetitions for myself and all the
days I beat my neighbors with it. But it is precious!
Mac is the best blues pianist I've ever heard.
Much better than any of the blind african american:
Art Tatum, Ray Charles, etc. who had unbeatable technique.
But what Mac drew was just wonderful.
I have left my Mozart sonatas and I'm memorizing all
Mac turnarounds :D

I'm learning to play piano like Doctor John. So I'm using his cds but I have to correct the transcription which has mistakes.
